This document is not filed in Superior Court, but is recorded at the Recorder's office in the county where the property is located.
A husband and wife may own real property as community property with the right of survivorship. When one spouse dies, the recording of this affidavit will have the effect of transferring title to the property to the surviving spouse. This form must be signed and notarized.
