Arizona Superior Court in Pima County
Drug cases consume enormous criminal justice resources within the State of Arizona. Of the defendants incarcerated for drug crimes, statistics show that 46% return to prison within 4 years of their release.
The Superior Court in Pima County recognized the need to "break the cycle of drugs." As a result, the Pima County Drug Court was created.
The mission of the Pima County Drug Court is to provide effective drug treatment through a comprehensive therapeutic based program that will enhance community safety by reducing recidivism and enabling individuals to become fully functional members of the community.
